We help you create your own Trust or Foundation
The most effective way we can support you is through our Donor Advised Funds. These allow you to create your own personalised Foundation within the legal framework of The Good Works Company. This means you don't have the cost or hassle of setting up your own Trust or Foundation and we deal with all reporting requirements, giving you complete peace of mind.
Your Philanthropic Advisor will help structure your giving, work with your financial advisors to maximise the tax efficiency of your gifts, undertake due diligence and proactively research charities and projects you might like to support whilst acting as an interface between you and charities seeking funds. What’s more, this service is completely free.

We can make charitable giving easier
Many philanthropists have too many demands on their time already and can't be as involved in their charitable giving as much as they would like; we can work with you to devise your giving strategy, and then distribute your charitable budget according to your wishes. We do the administrative elements like processing payments to charities so you don't have to, and we monitor the impact of your gift, giving you updates on what your support has achieved as often as you would like. If you already have a Trust or Foundation we can support on the management and review applications to ensure you receive only the best ones which fit your priorities.

We are keen to ensure you enjoy your giving experience and don't have to worry about the administrative elements. That's why we work closely with your existing Financial Advisors, Accountants, Tax Lawyers and Wealth Managers to help you enjoy the tax benefits charitable giving confers. Not only does this save your time, but saves your Accountant from having to contact multiple charities to get a receipt of gift so they can prove your donation to HMRC, ultimately saving you money too.
We help making gifts in your Will easier
Making a gift in your will isn't just tax efficient, it can also grant loved ones a rare moment of solace following a bereavement. Empowering your family to fulfil your wishes can allow them to focus on something uplifting, bringing them close to you through the causes you care about. Sadly, the practicalities of fulfilling HMRC regulations can be a complex and stressful process.
This can cause added stress to your loved ones, souring what should be a moment of healing. By naming The Good Works Company in your Will you can create a Trust to hold your charitable gift, fulfilling HRMC requirements. We then work with you to decide which causes and charities are closest to you and how you would like your loved ones to distribute the gift in your Will. We also work with loved ones when your Will is enacted to support them to have a positive giving experience and provide them with the information and guidance they need to fulfil your wishes.
